Apex Legends — Setup Guide

Complete setup and configuration guide for Apex Legends.

Before You Start

Close all games before proceeding. Run the loader as Administrator. Follow every step in order.

1Disable Windows Defender Completely

It is MANDATORY to fully disable the Windows Defender security suite using a specific third-party utility.

Tool Required: Use Defender Control (DControl) — download from sordum.org. Launch DControl and ensure Windows Defender is completely disabled.

Warning: If Windows Defender is not fully disabled using DControl, you will encounter a "Connection Failed" error when running the software.

Download Defender Control (DControl)

2Disable TPM and HVCI (Core Isolation)

These system security features must be disabled for both security and functionality reasons.

  • Disable TPM (Trusted Platform Module) — usually found in BIOS/UEFI settings
  • Disable HVCI / Core Isolation / Memory Integrity — found in Windows Security → Device Security → Core Isolation Details

Security Warning: Keeping TPM enabled will compromise your data security and you will GET GAME BANNED.

3Download the Software Loader

Download Apex Legends Loader

Download the official loader to begin the setup process.

Download Loader

Password: 123

4Launch the Loader

Important: The game must be closed before launching the loader — otherwise, you will get game banned.

Launch the downloaded loader application as an Administrator.

5Login to the Loader

Enter your software key / Serial Key and click Sign In (or Login) to authenticate.

6Click the "Load" Button

Click the "Load" button to initiate the software injection process.

7Wait for Loader to Close, Then Open the Game

Once the software begins loading, the loader application window will close itself. Wait until the loader process has been completely terminated before opening the game.

Note: Sometimes the loader process may get stuck in the background. Check Task Manager to verify it has fully closed — a stuck loader process may get you banned.

Once the loader is gone, open Apex Legends.

8Open the Menu In-Game

Once the game is open, the software will automatically inject and load itself.

Important: The game cannot be in fullscreen mode — use Windowed or Borderless Windowed, otherwise the menu will not appear.

Press INSERT on your keyboard to open the software overlay menu.

Extra Steps for Performance

These adjustments help ensure smoother operation and better performance, especially for a really smooth ESP.

I. Disable Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling

Prevents potential conflicts and ensures overlay stability.

  1. Press Windows + I to open Settings
  2. Navigate to System → Display
  3. Scroll down and click Graphics settings
  4. Locate Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling and toggle it OFF
  5. Restart your PC to apply the change

II. Adjust Game Graphics

Cap your in-game FPS and use lower graphics settings if you plan on using the visual overlay features for the smoothest experience.
